Easy Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo

Easy Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo recipe
Rich Alfredo may seem complicated to make, but it's a snap when you know this shortcut. A creamy cheese sauce tops chicken, fettuccine and fresh broccoli in 20 minutes flat.

My kids ask for this (no beg for this!)all the time. I altered it a little. I used wheat pasta and low-fat cream cheese and no one knew any better. It's a great way to get my kids to eat broccoli! I have also marinated the chicken in the zesty Italian dressing prior to cooking it, but it changes the taste a little, makes it more tangy, which I'm not too crazy about, but my kids like.

The alfredo didn't quite meet my expectations. It was quite runny and I could taste the cream cheese a bit more than I would have liked. That said, my husband liked it, which is huge. He even liked the broccoli, which he normally doesn't.

Very good! The sauce is thin at first but thickens as it stands. Great with or without chicken. I added a little garlic powder and a dash of ground nutmeg. -A cook in St. Louis, MO.

Delicious Recipe! Make sure you add a little salt, blk pepper, and garlic powder while chicken is cooking. Otherwise it will be bland.
