Slow-Cooker Orange-BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Slow-Cooker Orange-BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches recipe
Juice from an orange adds a sweet tang to long-simmering pulled pork, just right to pile on soft bread. This will raise the bar in your BBQ—no grill required.

Made this recipe for my son's 6 month birthday and received rave reviews from my family. Used dinner rolls instead of toasted sandwich rolls.

Easy and tasty. I cooked the meat without the sauce and added it at the end after I shredded the pork. The orange juice and bbq sauce were great together.

It was GREAT! Sadly, a bit much for just 2 people, but the leftovers still had a great taste.

Started this dinner before I headed out to work. LOVED that it was ready for US when we all got home at the end of the day. Was super delicious. The meat was tender. Can't go wrong with this recipe. We added cheese to our sandwiches and it made so much meat we had leftovers for lunches for the next two days!! Definitely a weekly menu maker!

My family really liked this. I too, did not put the pork back into the slow cooker after I shredded it. I let everyone add their own sauce once it was served. Great and easy recipe.

The flavor was great!! I used Cattleman's BBQ Sauce 'tho. I also did not put the meat back into the sauce it was cooked in (too watery and greasy. I just put fresh BBQ sauce on it.....Yuuuummmmm!! Will definitely make again. Now that I've read the other reviews...will use fresh orange juice and put the rind in (I used store bought OJ).
