Slow-Cooker Orange-BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Slow-Cooker Orange-BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches recipe
Juice from an orange adds a sweet tang to long-simmering pulled pork, just right to pile on soft bread. This will raise the bar in your BBQ—no grill required.

I have made this several times. It's great for birthday parties and get-togethers. I added more seasoning for extra punch.

I bought a six pound pork shoulder and placed it fat side up. I covered it with the bbq sauce and added a can of frozen orange juice concentrate, a sliced white onion, and black pepper. This absolutely rocked. I used a Tangelo orange and squeezed it then put the whole rind in the cooker. Awesome.

Wow, is this good! Used a smoky bbq sauce and some zest from the orange. So tender and tasty!

I really don't care for BBQ pork; but, my husband loves it, so I decided to try this recipe. What caught my eye about this recipe was the "orange" part, and I have to say, with the squeezed orange juice added to this recipe, well, it was absolutely wonderful! I, too, squeezed 3 orange, added onion and garlic, and it smelled so good, I couldn't wait to try it! It was well worth the wait! I have tried a couple of other Kraft recipes, and was not much impressed, but this one is a definite winner, and keeper!

I chopped some onion and placed at the bottom of croc pot first, added some garlic, then 1/2 c OJ and the BBQ sauce. It was delicious! Gone quickly and I've been asked to make again soon so definitely a keeper...

Super easy recipe! I loved this, although I did leave out the mayo. Also the BBQ sauce was a little too sweet. All I did was add fresh tomatoes to the sandwich and it evened out the sweetness.

We had this for lunch to spring SPRING in Sunday, March 20th. I cooked two Boston Butts in the crock pot. Everyone ate till they could eat no more. Needless to say everyone was able to take some home with them for later. That's the fun of cooking. We will be doing this one again.

I made it with chicken instead of pork... 3 mintues to prep and perfect 6 hours later! My 6 year old loved it too, and it was low calorie! Win!
