Easy Slow-Cooker Beef Stew

What You Need

cup fat-free reduced-sodium beef broth

1/4

cup KRAFT Italian Vinaigrette Dressing made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4

cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

tsp. dried oregano leaves

lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1-1/4-inch cubes

lb. small red potatoes (about 8), cut into bite-size pieces

large carrots, cut into 1-inch-thick slices

large onion, cut into bite-size pieces

slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped

Tbsp. flour

1/4

cup water

Make It

MIX first 4 ingredients in slow cooker. Add all remaining ingredients except flour and water; toss to coat. Cover with lid. Cook on LOW 8 to 9 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours).

TRANSFER meat and vegetables to serving bowl with slotted spoon; cover to keep warm.

MIX flour and water until well blended. Whisk into juices in slow cooker; cover. Cook on HIGH 15 min. or until sauce is slightly thickened; spoon over meat and vegetables.

I made this recipe and omited the bacon and used homeade bbq sauce. I also used baby carrots instead of cutting up carrots and it turned out great. Next time I think I may add some celery to give it a little extra texture.

Decent beef stew recipe. The BBQ sause gave it a differet taste, not bad though.

This beef stew was horrible. My family ate it and told me not to make it again. It has a type of chili based flavor, not sure if it is because of the reaction between the dressing and the BBQ. This was not a hit with my crowd.

This was the WORST beef stew my family and I have ever tasted. I used to think there was nothing my husband wouldn't eat. Well, I was WRONG! None of my family would eat this. What a shame to waste all that food that had to be thrown away when so many people are going hungry. This was NOT even edible. This is the first time Kraft recipes have let me down. so disappointing.

If you like beef stew this is great. Super easy and yummy. My kids even liked it so I will make it again. I did add a little more BBQ sauce but you would'nt need to.

I substituted the bbq sauce for some A1 and added worcestershire sauce. It had a little zest and was very good. The bacon didn't really make a difference, so next time I will probalby leave it out. I will defintely make it again!

WOW I was not expecting this too be that great, but this blew me away. I didn't use vinaigrette dressing, I used plain old italian but added 1/4 cup extra. The flavor is phenominal and we loved this recipe HOWEVER the flour mixture at the end didn't turn out so good it clumped into white balls thru out the mixture and didn't mix well.

I admit i had read many of the reviews of this meal before making it. The idea of italian dressing in a beef stew just didnt sound appealing. SUPRISE!!! I loved it, i added a little more bbq sauce, and a bay leaf. This was very delicious
