Easy Slow-Cooker Beef Stew

What You Need

cup fat-free reduced-sodium beef broth

1/4

cup KRAFT Italian Vinaigrette Dressing made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4

cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

tsp. dried oregano leaves

lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1-1/4-inch cubes

lb. small red potatoes (about 8), cut into bite-size pieces

large carrots, cut into 1-inch-thick slices

large onion, cut into bite-size pieces

slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped

Tbsp. flour

1/4

cup water

Make It

MIX first 4 ingredients in slow cooker. Add all remaining ingredients except flour and water; toss to coat. Cover with lid. Cook on LOW 8 to 9 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours).

TRANSFER meat and vegetables to serving bowl with slotted spoon; cover to keep warm.

MIX flour and water until well blended. Whisk into juices in slow cooker; cover. Cook on HIGH 15 min. or until sauce is slightly thickened; spoon over meat and vegetables.

This is my absolute favorite meal to make! It takes ten to fifteen minutes to get it in the slow cooker, then 8 hours later, I have a delicious, hearty stew! I highly recommend this recipe.

This is a delicious Stew. While I may have left it cooking too long, it still is very tasty.

My family loved this recipe. I used about 3 maple bacon, and used a little honey bbq sauce. I did not have beef broth so I just used water, turned out great, everything was perfect. I did add some diced green onion also... loved it... Thank you for sharing

My whole family loved this! I did this with a roast and not actual stew meat. We didn't have any of the problems/issues others did. There was like no dressing taste, and the BBQ sauce wasn't overpowering, it just added nicely to it.

very good..everyone loved it. loved the bbq taste.Didn't have any problems with the vegtables turning mushy or a dressing taste. will definitly make it again!

This was terrible! I love beef stew, as does my husband, but neither of us would eat it. Such a waste of food :( All we could taste was the dressing/bbq combo... it tasted horrible. I ended up straining & rinsing all of the meat/veggies to try to "save" it and made my own sauce. I've made many, many great foods from Kraft recipes, but this was definitely not a winner... My husband told me not to make this recipe again, and I would not recommend it either. Sorry Kraft! There are tons of great recipes out there (highly recommend the grasshopper fudge cake), but this one didn't didn't make par.

The flavor is strange and I cooked the stew on low for 8 hours and the carrots and potatoes turned to mush. The whole dinner was mushy. I ended up throwing the whole thing away and heading to the drive thru.

Very good and pretty easy. Nice fresh taste. Liquid didn't thicken up for me either.
