What You Need

1-1/2

cups crushed NILLA Wafers (about 60 wafers)

1/2

cup PLANTERS Chopped Pecans

1/3

cup butter or margarine, melted

bananas, sliced

cups cold milk

pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

2-1/2

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 325ºF. Mix wafer crumbs, pecans and butter in 13x9-inch baking dish; press firmly onto bottom of dish. Bake 8 min. Cool 10 min.

TOP crust with banana slices. Pour milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Spoon 2 cups of the pudding over banana layer.

GENTLY stir 1 cup of the whipped topping into remaining pudding; spoon over pie. Top with remaining 1-1/2 cups whipped topping. Refrigerate 3 hours. Store any leftovers in refrigerator.

Toasting nuts not only gives them a pleasing golden color but also intensifies their flavor and adds crunch. To easily toast nuts, spread them in a single layer in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 min. or until lightly toasted, stirring occasionally.

Garnish dessert with additional sliced bananas and PLANTERS Chopped Pecans just before serving.

I made this yesterday and it is so easy and delicious. A lot quicker and easier than making a banana cream pie.

Oh man, this was so good! My almost 3 year old LOVED smashing the Nilla wafers! :) It's a good recipe to have the kids help make!! I made a couple changes though. I omitted the Pecans because I don't like them. I also tried it with Banana Cream pudding. Very yummy that way too!
