This is one of the best and easiest shepherd's pie recipe I've made. My family (includes 3 boys ages 10 and under) love when I make it. Perfect for those evenings you have football or baseball practice and need a 30 minute meal.

I used to have to find an Irish store to buy the Shepherd's Pie mix, which was expensive and cost me almost $60 just for the packets, but since I've found this recipe, don't need to do that. My family loves this recipe. I make it for my husband's fishing trip and the guys gobble it up.

My family loves this! We have a local Irish restaurant, and we make this instead of going there. It's so delicious!

The flavor was bland and you should really season your meat seperately. Also, better to steam your vegetables before adding to recipe. The oven time just melts the cheese but doesn't soften he veggies.

Very good and I added notes of my "twist" to the Potatoes Topping.

This so delicious and easy. Used the Instant mashed potatoes with the cheese already in them, still added the cream cheese. I agree with others the gravy makes the difference I also add some onion to meat. I have made this with just the peas and I have made it with peas and corn combo any way it is great. I made the potaotes as instructed on the box, does anyone know why the recipe says to omit the milk when using instant.
