My family loved this recipe at first they were a little worried since we have never eaten sheperd's pie before. I used ground turkey and tomato sauce instead of the gravy. They can't wait for me to make it again. I recommend everyone try it.

My husband and I loved this. Believe it or not I had never made a shepherds pie before. I had some mashed potatoes left over so tried this recipe. VERY TASTY! Can't wait to have the leftovers. :)

My whole family LOVED this recipe!! Next time I will cook at 400 degrees as my veggies were cold in some bites and to give top a little more brown. I also used a apple wood smoked salt to season the meat. It was simply an amazing meal!

My husband really liked this recipe. I used instant roasted garlic potatoes and added green pepper and onion to the ground beef. The potatoes were a little dry so I added the milk anyway. I also added some extra beef gravy and more chedder cheese than called for in the recipe. It was very simple to make with already on hand ingredients. I will definately make this again.

I would definitely make this again! My son-in-law loved it. I used more seasoning when preparing the lean ground beef by adding onions & green peppers as well as salt & pepper. Added more gravy to make the veggies hold together better. Will try the chicken version next time.

Bland, I've got other shephard pie recipes I like much better.

This looked great in the magazine, but it took way more time than the stated "10 minute" (don't know how you can brown the meat in 10 min. (unless you burn it), mix in the other ingredients and assemble) prep time and the it was just really bland with not much flavor at all. It needed lots more flavor - maybe more gravy? I was disappointed!

We made this with ground turkey and roast turkey gravy.

This is not very good. I will not make it again. I found it not a quick meal to make.
