I absolutely LOVE this recepie as did everyone in my family. I used homemade red skin mashed potatoes instead of instant and didn't have mixed veggies so I used frozen peas and it was truly fabulous. Can't wait to try it again and play with it a little bit. Thinking about putting some bread crumbs or something over the top too...
Made this tonight for the first time, my wife and I both really liked it. Only suggestion, add a bit of fresh ground pepper to the ground beef. This one is a keeper, super simple and very tasty.
This recipe was good but not great. Something was missing. Maybe I'll make it with the bbq sauce next time.
Good and filling recipe. Family loved it. Although, maybe some pre-cooking of the vegetables would be good. I thought they tasted like they need to be cooked more thouroughly. Other than that, really good and I will make this again sometime in the future.
I think this would have been really good except it got really watery under the potatoes. I think because I didn't thaw the vegetables all the way. I'm excited to make this again...the right way!
Very tasty and easy.
This was a perfect, quick and easy recipe for a weeknight dinner. I made the mashed potatoes while browning the hamburger. I cubed the potatoes and put them in the microwave and with a little water for 8 minutes on high. It saved about 20 minutes of prep not waiting for the potatoes to cook.

Easy to prepare. Very tasty (yummy)! A new recipe for an old favorite. The cheese and mixed veggies give it a new layer of flavor. My husband gave it his seal of approval. I'll be making this again.
I like Sheparerd's pie but I agree with a few others, it doesn't look too appitizing. Putting that aside, I find it to be a good way to use left-over mashed potatoes and it tastes good too!
