INSTANT MASHED POTATOES????? YUKKKKKKK
posted:3/2/2010
I used instant mashed potatoes to make it even easier.

I made this using leftover chuck roast, mashed taters and gravy. I added an extra clove of garlic and I was quite impressed. I don't think I would make it with ground beef though.

The mashed potato topping made this recipe great. I used canned veggies too which tasted better than frozen.

I made this last night and it was really good. I did use fresh carrots sliced & microwaved for 6 minutes. Added frozen peas and drained canned corn for the veggies. Otherwise, made just like recipe. Delicious! Looking forward to leftovers.

I make this recipe all the time. My husband and 2yr old absolutely love it! Usually I have to make 2 pans (double batch) because it's great as leftovers

So easy and SO tasty! I used garlic mashed potatoes and omitted the extra step. I've also made this with ground turkey and still used the beef gravy and it is very good - cannot tell the difference. We've had this several times and it is a favorite in my house. So easy and very, very good.

This is an easy recipe that my whole family liked. There are 6 of us, my husband and my daughters boyfriend don't like traditional shepard's pie but they loved this one. I would recommend this recipe to everyone. I have also given it to my friends.

I guess it was alright. My husband didn't really like it at all. I think it was the frozen veggie mix we used, just too many veggies. Maybe next time I will just use meat, canned corn and carrots with the topping.
