GREAT RECIPE!! My family loved this and it was super easy to make! A family hit!!
Very good! The only thing I did differently was use 1/4 cup of the dressing since 2 TB didn't seem like enough. Once the chicken was cooked, I added the other ingredients and cooked on the stove until it was all melty, hot and bubbly. I immediately put the super-hot chicken mixture into my pan, then covered with the puff pastry. I think the fact that I kept the filling so hot kept the pastry from being "doughy". Excellent dish!
This was very good. I didn't think 1lb of chicken and 2 cups of veggies would be enough for our needs, so I altered the recipe a little. I used a 13"x9" inch pan, 2lbs of chicken, 4 cups veggies (peas, carrots, corn, broccoli), 1.5 cans soup, 6 oz cheese and, 1.5 sheets pastry. I was surprised there wasn't more seasoning in it--and we're big on seasoning--so i added LOTS of black pepper and 1 clove pressed garlic. I hate spending money on new recipes that turn out bad, but this was worth the money. The sauce was not runny like I was worried it would be. It was very filling. If making it again, I would be sure to melt the cheese in the frying pan. I only half-melted it before it went into the oven, and we got some bites that were just hunks of cheese.
So easy to make, and so delicious. My family loved it. The best pot pie I have ever eaten!
Loved it! It was so easy to make. I made it for my parents and my dad loved it so much my mom is making it again this week for him. My puff pastry contained 2 pastries in it and next time I am going to put one on the bottom of the dish and one on the top to see if this would make it even better.
Very easy recipe and even my picky husband gave it a "thumbs up". I used peas and carrots instead of mixed vegetables, and added diced left-over potatoes. I used a rolled out pie crust instead of the puff pastry. The ONLY thing I would do differently is to substitute low sodium soup instead of regular, was too salty for my taste. I would definitely make this again and again!
So easy and tastes great! I used cresent rolls instead of the puff pastry. Even the pickiest eater in the family loved this one!
It was so easy to make and absolutely delicious. Made it for my son who was home for a visit, he loved it, asked me for the recipe
This is a very good pot pie, we really enjoyed it and it was quick and easy to make which we need in our household! I mixed a bag of vegetables that were brocalli, peppers and corn only, also added some salt and pepper. Very good meal.
Excellent tasting recipe.
