This was awesome!! My whole family loved it. I would suggest putting about 1.5 cups of water into the pan if you don't plan on putting the manicotti straight from the box. The manicotti soaks up the water.
very very good.our family loved this recipe! we will be making this again and again!
I added a pound of italian sausage and about a quarter of a white onion along with everything else. The filling tasted good but I'm not sure I liked how it turned out overall. I did what others suggested and didn't cook the manacotti beforehand. I added water to the sauce to cook them while it baked. This seemed to make the dish too dry as the raw noodles soaked up all the sauce. I had to add more sauce after it was cooked becuase it was so dried out.Next time I'll probably precook the manacotti first and see if that helps. I can see how some would say this dish is bland because without the sausage I added I think it would have been missing something. Will probably give it one more try.
Very good and relatively simple. I left out the mushrooms which left me a little short on filling but we still had leftovers. Yum!
Delicious and Easy!! Very and husband ate it up!! Leftovers heat up well too...I easily added carrot puree to the filling!!
A little dull and too much spinach compared to cheese. Try different recipe or modify. Does taste very healthy!
I didn't cook the noodles ahead of time and it still turned out great! Also - instead of spooning the cheese mixture into the shells I put the mixture in a ziploc bag, cut off one corner and squished it into the shell. Much easier! Next time I might use less spinach and add italian sausage.
I would make this recipe again but i would use no cook noodles instead of the regular manicotti. When I cooked the manicotti according to the instrutions the noodles fell apart when I tried to stuff them. I ended up layering every thing in a dish and cooked it that way. I also think you need to use more sauce.
Excellent! I loved it! My dad enjoyed it very much. I just added to the spinach mixture half pound of shredded cooked chicken and serve it with toasts. Nice meal.
This was sooo delicious!! Even my toddler ate this up! And the leftovers were great the next day. We will definitely be making this again.
