This was great! It was the second time tht I had made it. I added more strawberries and kept some of them chunky in the mixture. I also added the whole tub of cool whip to the mixture and did not frost the outside with it. My husband wanted more cookies so I did that as well. I just crushed up the cookies in a bag rather than chop them and that seemed to keep them contained. It was super yummy! A great dessert for the summer.

I made this for a family reunion. I wanted something simple and taste for the summer. This hit the spot with everyone. I added a little red food coloring to make the inside more pink. I had numerous people ask for the recipe. A definite winner!

FABULOUS! I like things that look good, taste great, aren't overly sweet and the kids can help with. This had it all and my husband asked for seconds! That NEVER happens because he doesn't really care for sweet stuff.

This was a refreshing and delicious dessert. The hardest part of making it was cutting the cookies into small pieces. They would fly off the cutting board. I tried crushing the cookies but that didn't work because the filling kept the large pieces together. I also made the mistake of frosting it with the Cool Whip, adding the cut strawberries and then placed it back in the freezer until dinner time. I let it thaw while we ate. The dessert itself was fine by the time we were ready to eat it but the strawberry pieces were still quite frozen. I would also add a little sugar to them after slicing. Compared to the dessert, they were rather tart. Overall, it received rave reviews!

I made this for my daughters family and they loved it. I took the recipe with me when I visited by kids in Colorado and my daughter made it and it was a big hit. She used fresh squeezed lemon and it was better than just using juice. It is very refreshing it is defintely a keeper.
