I was looking for a low fatway to use up surplus strawberries. We loved it!!! I think I will try adding a few chopped Oreos to the strawberry/Cool Whip/condensed milk before putting in the loaf pan. A nice little bite of chocolate with the strawberry mixture would be an added treat.

I made this dessert for Garden Club meeting and it was greatly enjoyed even though I had put it in the refrigator for what I thought would be 15-20 minutes which turned out to be about an hour and of course it began to melt. In spite of it not looking as good as your picture, members said it was most delicious and wanted the recipe which I will give to them at a later time. I will leave it in the freezer until ready to serve the next time. Am thinking of trying it in muffin cups (paper included) and start with the crumbs, then the mix and upon serving add the Cool Whip on top. I used light Cool Whip. Thanks for this delicious recipe!!

I've made this dessert with strawberries and peaches though the strawberries were much better. The last time I made it I left out the oreos and served it on brownies. Next time raspberries!

I didn't have lemon juice so i left it out, and I used graham crackers instead of oreos, which turned out great. However, i added about 2 tbsp of splenda to the filling, because the strawberries, milk and whipped cream didn't have a lot of taste. The splenda helped bring out the sweetness. It ended up tasting pretty good, but the frozen strawberries were hard as rocks and made it hard to cut through the dessert - not to mention chew it!
