When I made these I couldn't put the tomatoes in them, my husband is really picky! But I would like to make them again for myself to see if they are good with tomatoes. Even without they were pretty good!
I absolutely loved these crescents. They are easy to make and very tasty. The filling ingredients can be easily changed. I was sorry when they were gone!
I made these for breakfast the day before Easter and they were a hit. I cut the leftovers in half and served them with Easter brunch and everyone was sad there weren't more - they all wanted seconds and the recipe! Instead of spreading the cream cheese on the crescent and topping with the fillings, I mixed it all together and then spread it on the crescent. It worked very well that way and came out great! I'll definitely make these again... soon, hopefully!
These were incredibly tasty crowd pleasers! I did not change the recipe one bit. I actually had to roll them up differently than in the photograph; I put the mixture in the middle of the triangle roll, and pinched all the sides up and together, to make almost a ball shape. This kept the ingredients from spilling out during cooking.
This was an excellent recipe. We used ham instead of bacon, green onions instead of the peppers and it turned out very well. Next time though we will double the recipe and make a wreath out of the cresent rolls and fill it like that instead of rolling each one individually as the dough was difficult to work with and didn't look as nice as it did in the picture. It's a great snack and a use for the left over ham from Easter.
great, for a little spice i added jalepenos
These are delicious and easy! to me they taste similar to jalepeno poppers.
I served these on the Easter Buffet. They were very good. I added chopped green onions. I also used fat free cream cheese and low fat crescents. The dough was a little hard to work with but they were very tasty. Will try at Church potluck.
wonderful blend of flavors!! everyone loved them.
Added chopped sundried tomatoes instead of the fresh tomatoes. The taste with this is incredible.
