Wonderful cupcakes! The cupcakes are not dry. I have made these cupcakes several times, family and friends love them. Super easy to make. ***I put the frosting in the refrigerator for a half hour to an hour and then pipe on the frosting.

EVERYONE LOVED these!! I made these last week for my grandmother's birthday and they were amazing. I did use fresh lemon zest & juice in the frosting and the lemon really popped. I think that any reviewer that didn't like these doesn't like lemon or made the recipe wrong - definitely one to save!!

not sure why these got such great reviews. the cake was dry and bland. i didn't use the frosting recipe. i simply used canned cream cheese frosting and added lemon juice. that was the best part of this recipe.

These are positively the best cupcakes ever. My family loved them and so did the customers I shared them with at work. Definately a keeper.

I love these cupcakes...and I'm not a huge fan of lemon desserts. I crave them in the spring time. They are light and sweet...and I'm making them again tonight!

I made these for my family and they absolutely loved them. My dad especially liked the icing. It's such an easy recipe that you almost doubt how good it's supposed to taste. However, once you make them, you want to make them again and again. Lovely recipe.

I made this for a Young Single Adult church activity with people I'd never met. These turned out so well that one girl stood up to make the announcement that they were superb and everyone needed to eat one! I don't even like lemon flavored things and I loved them. Either the frosting or the cake could use more lemon.

This recipe was simple and refreshing!! My family absolutely loves it. I didn't quite use the full bag of powdered sugar for the icing and it was the perfect consistency.
