Great recipe! It was simple to make and turned out delicious. At first I thought the frosting was too sweet until I tried it on the cupcakes. The bitterness of the lemon and sweetness of the cream cheese make a great combination. Can't wait to make it for my husband who is on his deployment and is sure to love this!!!!

This was a great recipe! I bought everything I needed for the recipe and then read the reviews.... I got some tips on making the cream cheese frosting taste better. I think the lemon zest really help make this recipe a success! I would definitely make this again. A tip to the wise... ADD THE LEMON ZEST oh and by the way, my frosting WAS NOT RUNNY! It wasn't that great by itself so make sure you put it on the cupcake beforehand.. GOOD LUCK!

Love the cupcake part of these -great texture and flavor. I did add a little bit more lemon juice and powdered sugar to the icing - but don't worry if you don't think the icing tastes good by itself - once paired with the cupcake, it's perfect!!

OH my! i have a few very picky eaters in my house including my older sister. as i was making these cupcakes she was makin sour faces and comments about how lemon cupcakes are repulsive and how she would never eat them ever ever EVER...well after i pulled them out of the oven and iced them i couldnt keep her fingers off them i think she ate about half of them and my father ate the other. these are AMAZING cupcakes i love them! she has been asking me to make her more ever since i made those. now that its time for her bridal shower she requested i make these instead of buying her a cake. :D

I recently made this for my son's Vacation Bible School and everyone loved them. They are easy to make and the only suggestion I could possibly make is to add Lemon juice to the cake batter as well as additional to the icing. Again tasty and easy.

I made these for Mother's Day and loved them. It is just hint of lemon, so if you would like a more lemon flavor, try lemon frosting. The home-made cream cheese frosting is a little difficult to make, but well worth the time and effort. Great dessert!

I LOST MY CUPCAKE PAN , SO I MADE THIS INTO A CAKE . EVERYONE IS RIGHT ABOUT THE ICING , I HAD TO TWEEK IT SOME !!! I USED ALITTLE EAGLE BRAND MILK ABOUT 1/2 A SMALL CAN AND 2 SPLASHES OF LEMON EXTRACT. IT TASTES GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
