Yes, Mac and cheese is great in many recipes I've used. especially with tuna salad I prepare regularly. I LOV IT ROSE
Loved it. I was rushed for time and made this. husband loved it too. Thanks
I Love this recipe its easy to make and I would make it again
I added some crushed red pepper, Italian seasoning, oregano and garlic powder to the skillet with a 15 oz can of tomato sauce. It was amazing!!
I loved this recipe! I substituted ground turkey for the beef. I also mixed in minced onions and garlic powder to add a bit more flavor. I could not find the Pizza shredded cheese, so I combined Mozzarella, Colby, and Monterey Jack cheeses with a dash of Taco cheese.
I agree with other reviewers that seasoning the ground beef helps. I added Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and minced onions. This was a quick, yummy dish. I served with a hot veggie steamed in the microwave - what could be easier?
WOW! This was wonderful! My whole family loved it- even the kids who don't like cheese and beef. EVERYONE asked for seconds- and even several for thirds! My 11 year old said, "this needs to go in our weekly rotation! I love it!"
My family loved this. It tasted like a cheeseburger pizza which made everyone happy! I was happy because it only took 30 minutes or less to put together.
I love making new dishes using familiar products (like Kraft's Mac & Cheese), but am often disappointed with the results. My family finds these dishes are often bland/tasteless. I think the reason is that the receipt doesn't include seasoning for the added ingredients - this receipt includes a pound of meat without suggesting the use of even a little salt and/or black pepper. I am glad I read the comments & suggestions by other cooks before making this dish. I, too, added onion and garlic powder, but only used half the meat. I also substituted enchilada sauce and added chili powder, some mild canned jalapenos and some salt & pepper. No longer "italian" - but really tasty!!!
I used green pepper and mushroom spaghetti sauce and added onion, garlic, and italian seasoning to the ground beef. It tasted great and my 3 year old loved it!
