These cookies came out too dry, need more liquid--maybe some oil?
This was a recipe I made for my ladies church group and they loved the cookies. It was a mild chocolate and peanut butter taste. I made them in a cookie flower pan where you insert the sticks prior to baking. I decorated them with icing and they tasted as good as they looked. Thank you Kraft for all of the great recipes.
Ha! I realized that they changed the recipe to add another egg for moisture. I had just softened up the peanut butter to make it work. I will try it with the additional egg and see if that works better. I love the end product though!
I made these cookies for my guys today and they loved them. It is a very simple recipe to mix-up. Will be on my list for easy cookies. Thank you to the person who came up with it. A loving mom.
I thought they tasted good but were dry. A little moisture would make them better.
Had to use dough hooks to mix this. My husband loved these cookies!
The recipe I clipped from your magazine called for 1 egg. I found it very dry so added 1 T. water. I would suggest mixing the egg, cheese, & peanut butter first, then adding the cake mix. Maybe should have had an extra egg?
What a treat for a quick fix dessert, They were easy and quick to make. I used the super chunk peanut butter, so I didn't have to add addtional nuts, as my family likes cookies with nuts in them. They were very good, and I plan to make them often.
Simple and very good, this is a keeper! I noticed that the recipe in the magazine (Spring 2008) calls for 1 egg, while the online version says 2 eggs. Having tried them both, I like the 1 egg (magazine) version better.
This recipe is very simple. I believe I will try a chocolate cake mix in lieu of the devils food cake mix next time. I will also add more peanut butter. Yummy and simple!
