Very good and much lighter than I thought it would be. Strawberries ended up a little mooshy and watery after storing it in the fridge for a few hours. I would recommend preparing everything and putting it all together right before serving.

It was actually pretty easy to make and we had company over and they thought it was store-bought as it looked so pretty. So this was a great recipe!

Just make this cake for the second time! I love it even more than the first time and so did those that ate it! Everyone was asking for the recipe!!! As a little suggestion, I cut wooden screwers to the right height and kept the layers from sliding. Cake was beautiful & tasted wonderful! Look forward to the next chance I get to make this cake!

I have never been more frustrated making a cake in my entire life. It was just fine, cakes turned out great, cooled them completely, frosting tasted good, everything was fine until I put it together. Then it started sliding all over the place, the frosting and strawberries slid out of the middle and off the top of it..it just completely fell apart. It tasted fine, not great but good. I'll never make it again though.

i will try this recipe for a friends birthday and hope it goes well. i will substitute the pudding frosting for chocolate flavored cool whipp. i hope that goes well.

Everyone said the cake tasted great! However, I hated making it.I am not a novice to baking by any means, but with the pudding, cool whip, jam & strawberries in the middle, all those ingredients are wet & therefore the top layer did not adhere to the bottom layer and kept sliding off. For the aggravation factor alone, all those who loved it will never see it again! No way will I make again unless I can find a way to make the top layer stay on top!

Absolutely LOVED IT!! Usually icing is too rich that my family can't eat it, but with the pudding as icing it was PERFECT!!

This cake is so good!! It is a fun cake to make. My whole family just loved it!! I will make it again.

This was so delicious. Very light, not a super heavy, rich dessert. We took it to a get together and everyone loved it!
