The flavor was good, but I found it IMPOSSIBLE to flip the patties and have them keep their shape. What a mess and a waste.

I made this recipe but with some modifications. My husband loved the end result and has asked for more. I omitted the cheese and carrots from the recipe but added an egg, onion, and garlic. I refrigerated the dough for 45 minutes and then baked the patties in the oven at 375 for 30 minutes. These tuna cakes turned out delicious, looked golden brown, and stuck together perfectly!

my husband hates tuna cake and crab cakes.. these are the first seafood cakes that he has ever likes.. Awesome!!

These were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I forgot to buy the carrots, but they were amazing without it!!!!! Dave LOVEDDDD them and it made SOO many and was SOOO cheap!

the mixture did not stay together very well and made it hard for cooking. Just wasn't one of my favorite recipes.

Delicious! and so easy to make. I didn't have relish on hand when I made them so I just left it out, but I served it with tartar sauce so we didn't miss it. We actually had the leftovers for lunch the next day and placed the tuna cake on a hamburger bun with tartar sauce on it and it was great!

I found this recipe a few years ago and have been making it since. They taste great and very easy to prepare. I did find that refrigerating a bit longer before cooking helped keep them together better. I make several batches at a time and freeze them after they have been cooked. I put two in a baggie, freeze and just pull out when needed and pop in the microwave for a few minutes and my lunch or dinner is ready. My family loves this recipe too.
