I'm not jazzing on Italian dressing lately so I used their Asian Toasted Sesame (left over from another Kraft recipe) instead and we really liked it. So simple to make!

we have this one a few times a month!!! don't use the italian dressing, but rather red wine vinegar, oil, ramen seasoning, and sugar.... don't use sunflower seeds, but do use crushed almonds (i just use a mallot to crush the whole almonds)

I use regular coleslaw in my recipe. I have used the ramon noodles and the chinesse noodles too. It always comes out great. Always have someone that raves about it. Even taste better the next day except the noodles and mushy. I wish there was a way to keep them crunchy. Always works.

Overall this recipe was a great starting point, but after reading several comments and reviews, I did change it up quite a bit! I used coleslaw instead of the broccoli slaw and it was fine, plus that is what I had on hand. I also halved the recipe and it fed a faculty (at a school) of about 14 people. They had a taste or two and everyone raved about it and wanted the recipe and wanted me to make it again and soon=) I added a lite Asian Sesame with Ginger and soy dressing (1/2 cup) and a little of the Kraft Italian dressing (1/4 cup). I also used the oriental ramen and it turned out great. I also used a can of drained mandarin oranges to top off the salad once I mixed it all up. With the green and orange, it worked out nicely for the St. Patrick's Day party my school's faculty had today. So, if you are willing to tweak the recipe, it should work out good. I will definitely make this recipe again, but with the changes I made. Thank you to all the people who left recipe tips!!!
