Although these tasted ok they fell apart on the grill even though I added an egg. I couldn't taste the cheese in it either and I know I added more then they called for. The idea is good but not worth the crumbly mess.

I have never had this particular burger, however I make one similar. Don't use breadcrumbs! It makes the burger dry and it will crumble! Use an egg! Also, I use half lean ground beef and half ground pork. The pork is fatty therefore you need the lean beef. It gives it a great taste! You can also fill the burger with any type of cheese. I also mix the burger mix with MacCormack's Montreal Steak Seasoning. The BBQ sauce sounds yummy. I'll have to give that a try!

My wife and daughter are the pickiest eaters on the planet. My wife's not a big fan of burgers, but she liked this so much she save a small piece for her mother to try. My daughter is reluctant to try anything new and difficult to please. Once I convinced her to try it, she gobbled it down. Everyone loved this;it was a big hit.

The burgers would not hold together. My husband had to bring them inside and cook them in a skillet. Ended up more like sloppy joe instead of grilled burgers.
