the burgers will not fall apart if you add one egg to the mixture.

Hold the breadcrumbs and add a more pungent cheese.Used ground chuck..more flavor, less fat than ground beef.

My daughter first made these and we loved them. It depends on what percentage of fat is in the hamburger how much bread crumbs I add. (less fat = less bread crumbs) They are a little like meatloaf. Dee

I have not yet made these burgers but they do sound very good. For those who had trouble keeping their patties together, did you use turkey or extra lean ground beef? If there isn't any fat in the meet they will fall apart and they will stick to the grill.

When I made these burgers, they began to fall apart and crumble while they were on the grill! Instead of having a burger-like consistency, they seemed more like meatloaf. Maybe the breadcrumbs aren't necessary for this recipe.

I love these burgers! They taste much better than regular old plain burgers and they aren't that hard to make!

These were delish! I did tweak the recipe just a little... I added 1 egg, lightly beaten to hold the patties together. I also added parmesan cheese, seasoned salt, and a little worcestershire sauce. Yummy!
