I have a similar recipe that adds shredded carrots, cherry or grape tomatoes and Italian seasoning (McCormic) Spruces it up a tad.

Try roasting the squash along with chopped onion, whole garlic cloves, and dried basil or dried italian seasoning at 425 degrees for 20-45 minutes. Stir the mixture up and return to oven for another 15 minutes, then top with parmesan cheese and return to the oven til cheese melts. Enjoy!

The recipe was quick and easy, but needed something else. A little salt would bring out some more flavor!

This recipe was not only easy but it tasted great. My husband and I enjoyed it thoroughly. And to think it was also good for us and low in calories. What more could you ask for.

I thought this was bland and not very appetizing (I made it exactly as the recipe stated). My husband liked it, but I thought it was just OK.
