I made this last night to use up leftover zucchini. My husband normally will not touch zucchini, but he ate this and even complimented me on it. I did not have any yellow squash on hand, but it was a great dish anyway. Thanks for a great recipe.

I'll start by saying I'm not a huge squash fan anyway, but to me the cheese seemed a little out of place in the dish. My husband who loves squash wasn't too fond of it either.

I make this all the time during the summer with squash from my garden. I sautee onions with it and I think it gives it more flavor.

Perhaps it would be best to confine your remarks to the dish at hand instead of publicizing your regional prejudices. You have no knowledge about what region the cook is from that found this dish bland.

Made this for company tonight, and we all loved it! didn't even need salt and pepper. Was lovely how the natural flavors enhanced each other. I wonder if the cook who said it was bland is from the south. I would encourage you to try cooking with natural flavors of foods and not trying to cover them up like my cooking teachers in New Orleans always did.

Just had this for dinner sauteed the garlic w/oil then added only zucchini also used cheddar cheese. definately make it again
