This dessert was simple and very delicious! I made my own version (black cherry) by substituting the strawberry preserves for sugar-free apricot preserves and the fresh strawberries for dark sweet cherries. Everyone loved it!
This was AWFUL!!! I made it for a party and it didn't end up getting put out on the table b/c there were other desserts, but I'm happy b/c I would've been embarrassed. It didn't taste like strawberry at all, it was like taking a bite out of a bar of cream chesse and the crust was soggy. YUCK!!!
I was disappointed that this dessert did not firm up(ever). The mixture was a soft pudding and was really good tasting, but had to be spooned out and was far from looking like the photo. I would make it again if I knew what I did or didn't do wrong.
This was awesome! I used half the amounts and put it in a pre-made graham cracker crust. It was absolutely delicious--and so easy!
Great summer dessert, easy to make and everyone loved it! Will make this for more summer family gatherings.

I was disappointed in this recipe. I followed all instructions carefully, placed it in the refrigerator for 2 nights,then took it to work for a party. It was like soft pudding - it did not firm up. Maybe it was using the Neufchatel cheese instead of regular cream cheese. I don't think I will make it again.
I used regular cream cheese and it turned out great, it did firm up. Maybe the other rating didn't firm up because there was too much juice in the strawberry/sugar mixture? I didn't add the juices from the mixture, just the berries. The peach flavor idea is a great one. I think I will try that too. Also, I don't think this recipe was intended to be "healthy", just a bit healthier than a typical cheese cake.
I made this for a memorial day cookout and it was fabulous!!! It's a very light dessert and very refreshing after a good BBQ. I will definitely be making this again.
Do not be fooled by the low fat cream cheese, look at the fat per serving, 20g! I will NOT be serving this to my family!
