I layered fresh cut strawberries with it too and it came out great. If you choose the berries, I would recommend eating that same day.

This is one of the recipes you can't mess up on even if you're a beginner cook. It's great if you're having a party and want a dessert but won't have time the day of, this way you can make this the night before b/c the longer it stays in the fridge the softer the cookie gets! Also if you want single servings try making these in cupcake liners.

I made this for last New Year party. Everybody loved it (my child and all my friends). I will certainly make it again.

This was a big hit in my house...however my girlfriends and I concluded that this would be even better with some fruit. Next time I will be adding Mandarine Oranges in between each layer and topping with whole strawberrys drizzled with Chocolate instead of topping with the cookie.
