Freestyle Apple Tart recipe

Somewhere between a tart and a pie—and right smack in the middle of delicious. Fresh apples layer over a cream cheese filling and bake up with sugar and spice…so nice.

The temperature was a bit too high for the apples to have cooked to my liking but with some patience I came out with a successful tart!

This recipe was delicious and so easy to make! My children just love apple pie and this was just the right twist on a classic recipe!

I made this tart while visiting my son's family. It was so easy! Old and young alike enjoyed the flavors. I cooked all week from that issue of the Kraft recipe magazine. It was fun for me to explore new recipes! Sandy signed me up too!

This was such an easy and tasty recipe. It went very fast. I will definately make it again. I did add cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg to the apples. It was a hit.

Yummy!!! I am so glad I tried this recipe out. I am going to make this again on Thanksgiving. There is one thing I would recommend doing when making this recipe. I would suggest you cook the apples until they are almost soft before baking. When I made the recipe, the apples were still a little crisp. I even left the pie in the oven for about 10 minutes longer than the recipe called for. I highly recommend this. It was simply delicious and tasted like a homemade apple pie.

This recipe was easy to make and looked pretty, but I found it somewhat boring in flavor compared to other apple pies and desserts. It was something about the lack of creaminess, maybe as a tradition pie has.

This recipe was simple to make and the results looked very professional. Best of all it was such a huge hit with everyone who tried it. I highly recommend this recipe to everyone inasmuch as everyone who tried it asked for the recipe. Expecting last minute company...this is the way to go...very impressive!

This was so easy and tasty. Everyone in my family loved it and has asked for it again and again. I recommend adding a little cinnamon with the apples for extra kick. Excellent recipe!

This tart is very delicious. There are a couple of changes I would make to this dessert. One, would be to peel the skins off the apple; second, I would drizzle hot caramel sauce on the top and then top it with whip cream.

Very easy and great tasting. Wish ready made crusts did not have lard in them - (there is one brand I think, but not available in my grocery store.)I always have to make my own, so that adds a little time since I don't eat lard - but it is worth it
