Somewhere between a tart and a pie—and right smack in the middle of delicious. Fresh apples layer over a cream cheese filling and bake up with sugar and spice…so nice.

My husband and son really liked this recipe. I served it with vanilla ice cream and drizzled caramel ice cream topping over it before serving. Yummy!

Very good; easier to make than traditional apple pie. I mixed the cinnamon into the apples instead of sprinkling on top. Next time, I might add some sugar into the cream cheese to make it a litle sweeter. Looks like it's store bought, not from my kitchen!

Bravo!!! This was a winner, my husband and son are both picky eaters and they ate this right up. I will probaly cook the apple with a little cinnamon sugar little first, so that they can be soft and sweeter next time next time.

I found this recipe easier than a traditional apple pie. I added cinnamon to the apple mixture and more cinnamon sugar on top. Instead of cool whip topping I used Mexican table cream

I found this to be average. It needed to be sweeter & definitely needs more cinnamon sugar. All in all, if I'm going to make this, I'd rather make your deep dish apple pie. That oneis very good!

This was really good and extremely easy, and has a beautiful presentation! I think next time I might mix a little cinnamon sugar in with the cream cheese before spreading it on the crust.

The tart was great, but I have never made one before, and in the picture it looks like the apples were not peeled. I will peel them next time as I did not like the taste of apple skin. Also has anyone tried this with cherries? Can you used canned cherries?

This was a fast and yummy dish. I did think that 3 apples were too many and next time I will cut them into smaller pieces. Would be great with vanilla ice cream as well.

Easy and delicious. Also would like to make minis in a muffin pan.
