Somewhere between a tart and a pie—and right smack in the middle of delicious. Fresh apples layer over a cream cheese filling and bake up with sugar and spice…so nice.

My husband and I both really enjoyed this recipe. I used honeycrisp apples and more of the cinnamon sugar mixture on the top. It was simple and quick to make with very good results. I have also experimented with a berry mixture (raspberry, blueberry and strawberries) and although I should have used a bit more flour to contain the juices, my husband liked this one a lot as well. I will definitely make this again.

The first time I made it I made 3 and shared it with family and friends and they loved it and asked when I planned on making more. I did but this time I made 6 and everyone had a whole or half of the tart. They have requested some for Thanksgiving. THANK YOU!

I made it for our family and it was a hit. Later in the week I made two for a coffee where everyone was to bring a dessert. It was a winner and I got a prize for bringing the tastiest dessert!

This was wonderful and simple. I have now made 3 of them in 2 days and when I told my daugheter about it she tried it too. We all really love it even her husband who does not like cream cheese. I added a teaspoon of cinnamon to the sugar and flour mixture, used a mixture of honey crisp and yellow delicious apples and used a little more cinnamon sugar on top. It was a hit with everyone. Taking my last one to my daugther-in-law today as she has been sick and loves apple pie. Should cheer her up.

This recipe is so easy to make and it's delicious! For a healthier version I use 1/3 less fat Philly cream cheese and Free Cool Whip. This has become a popular dessert in my family and will be making again and again.

I brought this to a pot luck. It was so easy to make. I made two, as the cream cheese is divided. I over heard people talking about it! Best of all, the pastor was eating and asked me if I knew he brought it! It is really yummy!
