I only tasted it before, but made it myself this time...GREAT! I mixed in some caramel topping with the cream cheese, added cinnamon to the center, and sprinkled chopped pecans on top. I will make this one again!

I made this last week for my family and in-laws. We all agreed it was not good at all. I cooked it exactly to the directions and the apples were still hard. It was also not sweet enough. I would not make this again.

The apples and cream cheese were such a strange contrast. Not at all what I expected. Perhaps it would taste better if the cream cheese were sweetened.

Very Good. But I used half of the cream cheese, and it was plenty for my tastes. This will definitely be repeated in my kitchen.

This was GREAT! Everyone in my family loved it, it was very easy to prepare using a peeler/slicer. We used Golden Delicious apples right off our very own tree!

this recipe was right up my alley---my friends know me as the queen of cream cheese---this recipe was easy,fast,tasty---have made a dozen already and given them to friends --- personal touches were to dot the apples with butter and made a cider sauce for serving yum!yum!

It was OK, I must not have done it right. It wasn't moist and I don't think the cream cheese did much for it even sweetened. My DH asked me if the bottom crust was not cooked. It was, it was just the cream cheese that made it seem mushy.

I absolutely loved the taste of the apples with the contrasting taste of the cream cheese. I recommend using granny smith apples. The recipe says to cover with foil the last five minutes of baking, but with my oven, I had to cover it much sooner. ( I know all ovens are different) I also tried using splenda instead of sugar and it was very good! It's such a simple recipe, and tasty too. I will definitely be making this again soon!
