Salsa is the key to making a quick sauce with lots of flavor. Try it in this cheesy pasta and chicken breast skillet dish.

What You Need

cups multi-grain penne pasta, uncooked

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

1-1/4

cups TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa

cup frozen corn, thawed

large green pepper, cut into strips

cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, heat large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 2 min. Stir in salsa, corn and peppers. Bring to boil. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until chicken is done, stirring occasionally.

DRAIN pasta. Add to chicken mixture; mix lightly. Top with cheese. Remove from heat; cover. Let stand 1 min. or until cheese is melted.

This is one of my husbands favorite meals! I have made it many times. It is fast, easy and tastes great. Most of the time I just use canned corn, it works just fine.

The taste was not that bad, but I just didn't like the combination of the penne with salsa and corn. It was just too weird a combo for me.

Great quick and easy dinner! My husband and I like things a little bit spicier, so I ad a little red bell pepper juice and the peppers themselves instead of green pepper.
