Cheesy Chicken & Salsa Skillet

Salsa is the key to making a quick sauce with lots of flavor. Try it in this cheesy pasta and chicken breast skillet dish.

What You Need

cups multi-grain penne pasta, uncooked

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

1-1/4

cups TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa

cup frozen corn, thawed

large green pepper, cut into strips

cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, heat large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 2 min. Stir in salsa, corn and peppers. Bring to boil. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until chicken is done, stirring occasionally.

DRAIN pasta. Add to chicken mixture; mix lightly. Top with cheese. Remove from heat; cover. Let stand 1 min. or until cheese is melted.

This recipe was a BIG hit! I used about 1 1/2 cups of the salsa & my husband would like there to be a little more next time. Delicious!

Was great. Adding a can of drained and rinsed black beans really adds a lot to this. Also some fresh onion.

Great, easy recipe. I didn't have any corn on hand so I used a can of rinsed black beans instead. It made it very hearty and added good texture. Would recommend!
