Salsa is the key to making a quick sauce with lots of flavor. Try it in this cheesy pasta and chicken breast skillet dish.

What You Need

cups multi-grain penne pasta, uncooked

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

1-1/4

cups TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa

cup frozen corn, thawed

large green pepper, cut into strips

cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, heat large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 2 min. Stir in salsa, corn and peppers. Bring to boil. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until chicken is done, stirring occasionally.

DRAIN pasta. Add to chicken mixture; mix lightly. Top with cheese. Remove from heat; cover. Let stand 1 min. or until cheese is melted.

This was really quick and easy. I was not sure if I would like it, since I dont like salsa. However, it was very tasty! We added some black olives to ours and put sour cream on top as well. Family of 6, including 4 finicky boys loved it! Will surely make again!

This was very good and very easy to make. We eat a lot of pasta in our house so it was nice to have something different to try.

So easy and delicious! The only change I made was to pre-cook the chicken in the broiler to give it a more grilled taste. We have already had this a few times.
