Cheesy Chicken & Salsa Skillet

Salsa is the key to making a quick sauce with lots of flavor. Try it in this cheesy pasta and chicken breast skillet dish.

What You Need

cups multi-grain penne pasta, uncooked

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

1-1/4

cups TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Thick 'N Chunky Salsa

cup frozen corn, thawed

large green pepper, cut into strips

cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, heat large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 2 min. Stir in salsa, corn and peppers. Bring to boil. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until chicken is done, stirring occasionally.

DRAIN pasta. Add to chicken mixture; mix lightly. Top with cheese. Remove from heat; cover. Let stand 1 min. or until cheese is melted.

This is a Great Recipe... Easy to make afterwork and everyone ate it. You can make it as spicey as you want depending on the salsa..

This was soo amazing! And so easy to make! But we added more salsa than the recipe called for! We liked the extra kick it gave!

My family loved it. I did add some taco seasoning to it and used our favorite salsa. Have made it a few times already.

This dish really surprised me, in a good way! My whole family loved it. I added some black beans, like some other reviews suggested, and thought they were a wonderful addition. Also, it was sooo fast and easy, definitely will be making it again!
