We cooked fresh raw shrimp with garlic salt on the side and then added them in the final step. We also used a lot less onion than what the recipe called for. We used no salt added diced tomatoes. We're going to try the fire roasted or Italian seasoned ones next time. Great recipe if you enjoy tomatoes!

My husband and I LOVE this recipe!! I also put in italian seasoning, and sometimes I use fettucine instead of penne. It's a restaurant-style dish that is so easy to make at home!

make sure you really finely chop the onion if not the onion over takes the dish

This recipe was amazing - I had some friends over for dinner and they just loved it! Definately plan on making this again! Leftovers were even delicious!

this was absolutely a great tasting dinner. It was like we took the whole family out to a resturant. Only minus all the bathroom trips a mom has to make with the kids. We got to really enjoy the mouth watering taste. You must try this recipe!!!

It was better than expected. Wasn't sure how the tomatoes would taste. I added fresh mushroom and Italian seasoning into the recipe to give it more taste. I also added the Parmesan cheese as I was tossing the pasta in with the mixture. It's never too much cheese.
