this recipe was so good. it is so easy to make. i was thinking about trying it with applesauce instead of the pie filling

After reading ALL the comments I understand why it is necessary to brown the chops 1st. It gives them a nice color & searing them seals in the juices. I used the cornbread stuffing, but the pork stuffing sounds best. I did think the stuffing was too salty, so has anyone made it with something else as a substitute for the stuffing? Maybe a homemade bread crumb or cracker topping? I actually didn't see the stuffing was to be prepared & sprinkled it on dry. The moisture from the pie filling moistened it fine. I will make again, probably doubling the apple pie filling & adding dried cranberries.

I was skeptical of this recipe, but I gave it a whirl, and it was a big hit! Great flavor and a nice change from the normal dinner routine.

I did think it was a little bland, and besides saly there aren't to many seasoning options. Maybe if I added apple cranbury pie filling it would be a little better.

Amazingly good! I was a little skeptical of something with only three ingredients, but the tastes all went excellent together. I used a bit thinner of a cut and worked just fine if I cut 5-10 min. Will make again for sure.
