What You Need

pkg. (19 to 21 oz.) brownie mix (13x9-inch pan size)

pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

cup cold milk

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

1/2

cup powdered sugar

1-1/2

cups COOL WHIP Whipped Topping (Do not thaw.)

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1/2

cup PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts, coarsely chopped

Make It

PREPARE and bake brownies in 13x9-inch pan as directed on package; cool. Meanwhile, beat pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 min. Add peanut butter and sugar; mix well. Refrigerate until brownies are completely cooled.

SPREAD over brownies.

MICROWAVE COOL WHIP and chocolate in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min., stirring every 30 sec. Spread over pudding; top with nuts. Refrigerate 1 hour.

I made these the other day...they are AWESOME! I didn't have Baker's chocolate for the top layer so I used chocolate chips instead. I did what others said and melted the chocolate first before adding the cool whip and it blended together pretty easy. I also used about a cup of chips for the top layer. I will definitely make these again. The peanut butter layer is insanely good by the way....may use it in other recipes.........

Very rich! I didn't care for the chocolate layer and neither did my friends. I will try this recipe again, but I will most likely do something different for the chocolate on top. The peanut butter layer was suprisingly good!

I took this to a Christmas party and everyone loved them! I did a couple of things differently in the making: I mixed in the powedered sugar with the pudding before I added th peanut butter for eaiser blending, and I used chocolate chips instead of baking squares. Remember: always use a plastic knife to cut brownies for less tearing!

This recipe was so good! My husband isn't big on brownies but he had no problem eating these. I'm making it for our family Christmas party and then again for Christmas day.

My family HATED this recipe. I was so bummed because it looked so good, but they didn't like the peanut butter texture and I ended up throwing the pan out.... I will not be making it again...

This is a winner - the grandkids rated in 11 out of 10 and the adults agreed. It is rich, cut it into small bars and enjoy.

I have made this recipe several times. My husband loves them. I substitute mix crushed nuts for the roasted peanuts.

Good but extremely rich. Tastes like a peanut butter cup. Would recommend cutting them into very small bite sized pieces. A whole brownie is too much.

This recipe is so good! Everyone wanted my recipe. I recommend freezing them overnight for a cleaner cut. They are beautiful on a fancy plate for a party.
