Made this for a party and everyone loved it! Doubled it up and there was barely any left by the end of the party. Will definitely make this one again. It was really good.
Excellent chili - made this today for a chili cook off... came in 3rd out of 10 entries! Cooking in a crock pot made this super easy and it tasted really good!
This is the first chili I ever made and it was for company. Quite a hit. Made a couple of changes. After browning the beef I sauted the onions. I layered the beef, onions and corn in the crockpot the night before. The next day I added the rest of the ingredients and a can of pinto beans.
My family LOVES this recipe! Its always a crowd favorite. I add extra corn and a little sugar. I also use chili beans instead of dark kidney beans. DELICIOUS!!!!!
This is my husband & my favorite recipe thus far. We add cayenne peppers & pearl onions and double the recipe for our family of six. Would recommend to everyone!
Very yummy chili! Instead of the light red kidney beans, I substituted pinto beans. I also half'd the tomato sauce and added a can of Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilis. mmm mmm good!
I have made this several times. It is so easy to put together. The flavors are wonderful. Plan to make it often.
This was delicious and easy and our whole house smelled like chili all day!! I did add some steak seasoning, bacon, and half a beer just for some extra flavor. We like things well seasoned at our house. My husband demands cinnamon rolls with this chili.
I made this for a party, and it was great! Mix it all up, throw it in the slow cooker, and ooohhh and ahhh when the steam lifts and the spoon scoops. Easy to make and share!
This made a great tasting chili. However, it turned out more like soup than chili. I made it for a card party and luckily had another crock pot, which I took to the party, transferred the chili, put it on high and left the lid off. Did anyone else have this problem?
