I have not made this recipe yet, but beans are suppose to be in a chili bean recipe. A great choice of beans are kidney or pinto's. This is not a hotdog chili recipe. Now that should not have beans.

This recipe is so easy and delicious. I love the dark kidney beans and corn in the chili. It's a nice change from my homemade chili that I make with tender beef cubes, onions, jalepeno chilis and no beans. I serve up any chili I make with a spoon of sour cream on top. My friends and family just love it!

Kidney beans in chili? I will try this with pintos, red beans, or black beans (sometimes white beans in chicken chili), but not kidney beans. That would be anathema!

Chili should never be made with beans!
