These buckeye bars were amazing!! I made them for Thanksgiving and they left the table quickly!!

I brought these in to work a couple days after I originally received the recipe in the newsletter. They were a huge hit. I did make a couple of changes; doubled the recipe for the PB layer, 9x13 pan, and for the topping I used 2c chocolate chips melted with some shortening since I didn't have Cool Whip. I'll be making these again for our Christmas potluck and my family Christmas gathering.

I have not actually made this exact recipe. I have made a similar recipe for peanut butter bars for many years, except my recipe uses graham cracker crumbs in place of the nilla wafers and 2 cups of melted semi-sweet chocolate chips in place of the cool whip/ bakers chocolate mixture - keeps the chocolate from being so sticky! They are always a hit with everyone and so easy to make!

This was really simple and quick to make! It is a little rich, but it's really good!

This recipe is pretty good but be forewarned, very rich!! It's something you can have a very small piece of and it would completely satisfy the sweet tooth! My kids loved it!!

YUMMY!!! I used smooth peanut butter instead of the crunchy. They were all gone before I could get my hands on a second piece. I'm using the for a cookie swap recipe this coming Saturday.
