I disagree with "LittleBuckeye01" to an extent. Here's why:
I make Buckeyes straight up pure peanut butter and powdered sugar with chocolate...that's it. They didn't taste EXACTLY like a Buckeye, which is where I agree. HOWEVER, this recipe, seriously, took me NO MORE than 15 minutes to do.
It was one of the fastest recipes I've ever completed...and of course the setting time is 2 hours...but that's nothing. It is a very simple recipe, and it got rave reviews from those whom I served it to. In fact, at least 5 people asked me for the recipe.
This is now a staple in my repertoire.
OH, and the chocolate stuff on the top.. fabulous!!! I may use that idea for cakes and brownie "frosting".
