This was a "Blast from the Past"! and sooo much more delicious than I remember from the school lunches. It's so easy to make and everyone wants the recipe!

I was really excited about this recipe, I love buckeyes! They were easy to make, no baking required however they were not as peanut-buttery as I imagined they would be. Almost dusty and dry. And I am not a fan of semi-sweet chcocolate. I'd use milk chocolate.

OMG this is really great tasting and very easy to make. I have done the buckeye balls and this is sooo much better. I am going to give as holiday gifts. thanks.

Super rich! My father-in-law is from Ohio and so I felt obligated to make these for him for our Thanksgiving celebration. They were very easy and a major hit at both family's houses! Look forward to doing it again!

IF YOU LOVE BUCKEYE BALLS, YOU MUST TRY THIS RECIPIE! Much less work! If doubling the recipe you may want to melt the chocolate for 60 seconds before adding the cool whip. After melting both together, just keep stirring and eventually it will come together beautifully!

This was SOOOO delicious! I thought I was going to have a problem with the topping but I put them in the fridge all night and it turned out just fine! I make buckeye balls every year but these bars were so much better. I loved the nilla wafers in them. Can't wait to make them again for Christmas!

I made this dessert for Thanksgiving along with the Turtle Pumpkin Pie. My husband and girls don't like pumpkin pie. My husband who is one of the pickiest eaters I know loved it! I will be making this again, probably for Christmas!
