This was very tasty but the topping looks nothing like the one shown. By adding the whipped topping to the chocolate it makes the topping more of a milk chocolate.

Taste just like the real Buckeyes, but easier to make. They disappeared even quicker.

These are pretty good. Very rich. Make sure you cut them into small pieces or no one will be able to finish one. I wasn't crazy about the chocolate and Cool Whip mixture, though. I think next time I would omit the Cool Whip or use something else to keep the chocolate soft.

I used chocolate chips instead of the squares on top. Very good & easy

The peanut butter mixture did not set up that well, they were a bit crumbly.

I made these for the first time to bring to work as a birthday treat. I warned the ladies it was quite sweet but their reply was "but they are oh so goooood!" One coworker wanted the recipe so she could bring the buckeye bars along when her crew sets of the 4th of July fireworks in our hometown! Very easy and extremely delicious!!!!

Oh My Goodness! These were awesome tasting, they taste like reese's cup but on a classy level, (you know put on your after five dinner dress). I did change the chocolate, I used Baker's simi-sweet chocolate bars. After the first bite, I knew that this goes with ice cold milk and everyone liked these. (And no its not because we are from the Buckeye state. I will be making these a lot of times through the year.
