I have made this recipe several times and have always gotten rave reviews. I have even doubled the recipe and frozen half to take later to friends who need a meal and it is just as good as eating it right after it's made. It is a great dish!

My husband loved it. I changed it a bit. Didn't add chicken, or spinach and used cream cheese. Turned out GREAT!!! I can't wait to make it again. This is going to be a great dish to take to my friends that just had a baby!

Restaurant quality! My hubby ate 3 helpings and brought another to work for lunch today! The kids (5&7yo) ate every bite (even the spinach)!! It was fresh, full of flavor and still healthy! Only complaint: it took 3 pans to make it.

This was easy to make with things I already had on hand. The kids liked it too.

I didn't have penne, so I used 100% whole wheat macaronni. I was also out of basil, so I used 1/2 tsp oregano and 1/2 tsp rosemary. I used grated Romano instead of the grated Parmesan. This recipe was incredibly good! My 16-month-old son couldn't eat it fast enough. The next time I make it I will add a clove of minced garlic as another reviewer suggested, and I may add a few red pepper flakes to give it more of a "kick." I will definitely be making this recipe at least once a month.
