Very easy and festive for Christmas. The candy canes in the batter created a very nice flavor. Moist and delicious! Already my family and friends are asking for recipe.

Very good, peppermint and chocolate tast so good together. My store was out of regular candy candys to crush so I crushed peppermints.

I added some more mint flavor by using a mint chocolate chip flavored Jello pudding mix. Very good and fun for the kids.

These were soo good! The cupcakes were so moist! Next time I make them I will add extra candy canes to the batter for more peppermint flavor.

Made these for our Christmas party at work. They came out great. They were very moist. I knew they would be sitting out for awhile so I used a can of whipped frosting. The batter is very thick, and I would recommend a smaller than "medium" chopping for the candy canes. Very good recipe!

I made this for my son's birthday and he loved it. I didn't put the candy cane but it was still very good, it was very moist. I'll make these again, my whole family of 5 likes it a lot. The cool whip needs to be put just before you eat it but it will harden a little if you refrigerate it.

We love these! I made them using eggbeaters and applesauce in place of the eggs and oil and they turned out just fine. I also added peppermint extract to both the mix and cool-whip. Only trouble is that the coolwhip seems to run - any suggestions?
