What You Need

can (15 oz.) dark red kidney beans, rinsed

can (15 oz.) light red kidney beans, rinsed

cups TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Mild Salsa

can (15 oz.) no-salt-added tomato sauce

Tbsp. chili powder

1-1/2

lb. boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces

onion, chopped

cup frozen corn

cup KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese

Make It

COMBINE beans, salsa, tomato sauce and chili powder in slow cooker. Top with chicken, onions and corn. (Do not stir.) Cover with lid.

COOK on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours); stir.

SERVE topped with cheese.

This tasted more like tomato sauce than chili. All I could taste was tomatoes. Very bland. I added cumin, sugar, ground red pepper and seasoned salt to liven it up, but nothing really helped. Maybe a packet of taco seasoning and some cilantro?

Excellent and super easy! Pretty cheap too! I will use 1/2 a chopped onion next time though because the onion taste was a little strong for me.

I have made this several times with some modifications. I use chicken breast cubed up and mixed veggies. One of our favorites and so nice to only use the crock pot.

My husband and I loved this recipe. We thought the flavor was great. I will definitely make this again.
