I used leftover roast and shredded it - then added bbq sauce - also sauteed some red onion with the red bell pepper....more like a brisket taco - it was GREAT! If it tastes too much like sloppy joe try some thinly sliced steak and sautee it -gives it more of fajita flare.
For some odd reason it reminded me more of a sloppy joe then a taco. My family said it was okay, but asked me to make regular tacos next time.
If I could make meals as good as this one everyday I will surely reach my healthy living goals! I will keep coming back for more tasty ideas.
I tried this recipe for the first time when I served it to company-including a child and everyone loved it. We had just started a get healthy program and I chose this for a sample meal. It tastes great and is very filling. Thanks Kraft-foods for your help in getting healthier!
This was very easy and yummy. I used ground turkey and corn tortillas and it also worked very well.
This was the greatest! It was easy, tasty and so quick. My husband and kids thought this was better than regular tacos. The fact that this is more healthy and better tasting than your run of the mill tacos will make this a regular meal in my house. Thank you!!!!!!
These were delicious. My husband and I loved them. I cooked the lean ground beef then set off to the side. I then sauteed the veggies to our liking, since I like my veggies very tender, then I added the beef back into the pan and sauteed a bit longer. The 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce was the perfect amount. I used Kraft Honey BBQ sauce. I then topped with shredded cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Yum!!!!!
Gret Flavor! The whole family loved it! Quick and easy!
My husband and I loved this. It was very easy and quick to make and we will definitly have it again.
Very easy to make. It is a nice twist to regular tacos. If you are looking for a change and you love tacos give this recipe a try.
