This is another one that my husband and I loved. He wanted a good old-fashioned pot roast and I wanted something for the slow-cooker. We were both happy with the results.

The roast had great flavor, not to sweet and the bbq sauce didn't over power the beef. The carrots on the other hand were way too sweet. The potatoes were very good and cooked wonderfully. I will definitely make this again but make a separate dish of carrots.

This actually came out much better than I thought it would. The BBQ sauce made an interesting change but a great one. I didn't use flour (I use instant potato flakes). I also added a lot of minced garlic. My family of 5 loved this recipe.

This is a great pot roast. I did not have the original bbq sauce so I use the hickory that I had. So good. My family loved.

It was an easy meal to make. Although I wish I would have put more vegetables in there since it gets soaked up so much by the BBQ sauce. The pot roast came out great though.

Not good at all. The "gravy" made out of barbacue sauce was gross. A truly terrible overpowering flavor.

I made this on a snowy day and it was a hit! My husband loved it! I used 2 cups of water instead of 1/3, it helped keep the roast moist in the roaster and I was able to make lots of gravy - which was delicious! Can't wait to make it agin!

It was good but the BBQ sauce was a bit overpowering, will definately make it again but with a little modifying.
